Are We Related?
Trevor from Sebastopol, Australia was glad to hear that both Dick and Leo are watch junkies. So is he. He's got loads of watches, most of which have flat batteries.

What's In The Box?
This is another DGW episode in which Dick opens a gadget parcel while recording the show, as in Episode 379 (Cardiochek).. Dick wishes he had the Zibra OpenIt (Episode 496) with him, as the Energy Station is blister-packed. Both occasions nearly drew blood from Dick.
Digital Picture Frame for a Venerable 103-Year-Old
Rick McCormack from Lopez Island Pharmacy heard Episode 504 on Valentine's Day about the Coby Digital Photo Frame, which prompted him to write about a Ceiva picture frame which he has given to 2 elderly relatives, one of whom is 103 years old. It hooks up to the internet and he can administer the frame over the internet via a phone line, change the settings etc without intervention from the user. It does require a subscription, and Leo knows of a company called Digital Spectrum Solutions which makes digital photo frames which you can administer via the internet without a subscription fee, a Chris Pirillo recommendation.

The Lab with Leo
Another "Dick, ask Leo ..." email. Listener Kelly asks when The Lab with Leo will be airing. Leo is still hoping that a US TV network will carry it (since Vancouver is practically the US), but in any event they have to wait for enough episodes to be filmed first. By the way, Leo is not bitter about G4 having cancelled Call For Help twice.
Totino: The Finale
A sad note from the listener Eric who works as an engineer at General Mills that he's sorry that General Mills will not be sponsoring the show.

Automated Uploading System
Leo's automated podcast uploading system is a little buggy and he has not been using it. So Dick is still getting emails saying, "Tell Leo he forgot the podcast again."
Sponsors
Leo has heard that their sponsors have been very happy but Dick and Leo will have to wait till the new fiscal year for their comeback.
Leo's Omission
Peter Lee points out that in reviewing the Plantronics Voyager 510 (Episode 252) Leo has forgotten to mention that the bluetooth headset can pair with 2 cellphones; it will also beep when it gets out of range of the paired cellphone. Leo has lost his Voyager 510 during kayaking.

It's a lollipop holder that plays music when you bite on the lollipop. The sound waves are sent via the lollipop, via the teeth, up the jaw lines, into the inner ears, so that only the person biting on the lolly can hear the music. Some models have FM radio. Dick's lollipop holder was made by Hasbro and the line of products were called Sound Bites. Here's a CNN report on the product when it first came out in 1998.
A later incarnation was a toothbrush that plays music called Tooth Tunes. Hasbro is not selling the Sound Bites any more but is still selling the Tooth Tunes.
Here's how the Tooth Tunes works.
Bandai from Japan had a similar idea with the lollipop called the Silent Shout. Read about the Bandai product in the Augusta Chronicle.
